Arise Restored - He restoreth my soul. Psalm 23 needs no introduction, it shines as a crown in our Scriptures. With words so rich in meaning that to read them creates a longing in our soul to experience them. Experiencing them is what this workshop is about. In this workshop, Tiffany will lead us on a progression of intimacy with Adonai Roi, the Shepherd of our soul. He lays us

Love Notes.  The kind word written is a lost art in our world of instant messages, texts and e-cards. Yet, we are called to build relationships forged over time with our talents. Come and enjoy a time of fellowship and fun. We will create 4 handmade cards and talk about the art of writing hard written notes to share God’s love and nurture relationships. This is a time of laughter, sharing and creativity.

Soul Nourishment: Reading and Understanding the Bible in Personal Devotion.  In Psalm 19, David praises God for his laws and decrees saying, “They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.” (Verse 10) Does your heart rejoice in reading God’s Word more than it rejoices in a $500 gift card? More than it rejoices in dessert? How is it that David can rejoice in the Word of God so deeply, so sweetly? In this workshop, we’ll look at the Bible as one great story of God’s love and rescuing. We’ll learn how to study God’s Word as a personal devotion and how to have conversation with God through His Word. We’ll ask God to give us hearts like David that treasure and delight in His Word. And, we’ll see how God uses His Word to speak into every part of our hearts and lives.
