Bishop Dan Herzog has been involved in the ministry of healing and teaching for over forty years. He has served as a priest in settings as varied as small towns, rural villages and inner city. He was bishop of Albany from 1997 to 2007, during which time the diocese established Christ the King Spiritual Life Center and its Oratory of Christ the Healer. He has served as Chaplain of CtK; Director of Healing Ministries and Spiritual Formation; and is now serving as Priest-in-Charge at St. Augustine's, Ilion. Carol Herzog, his partner-in-ministry, and he have been married for over 50 years; they have five children and fourteen grandchildren. In retirement he continues in ministry as a retreat and conference leader and spiritual director.
The Healing Service includes Praise and Worship, Scripture and Teaching as well as opportunities for Holy Communion, Anointing, and Personal Healing Prayer Ministry .
A buffet lunch ($11 inc. tax) can be purchased at the Welcome Center beginning at 11:45. All are welcome.
