Barry House Theological and Community of Saint Mary Combined Library is a residential library and meeting place which is dedicated to dialogue, debate and learning. It is open and welcoming to visitors. We provide the library and its rich resources for research, or if you are looking for a quiet place to read or write.
Featuring a vast Christian library, meeting spaces and residential wing, Barry House and Community of Saint Mary Combined Library is an outstanding resource for students, educators, retreaters and small groups.
Barry House is a favorite guest location for meetings, retreats, family gatherings, dining parties and barbecues.
The extensive combined library contains more than 15,000 historical and contemporary Christian books, periodicals and resources. These resources cover a variety of Christian topics including theology, history, worship, spiritual direction, church growth, youth ministry and much more.
The library's resources are available for use while visiting Christ the King.
Whether sitting in front of one of the beautiful stone fireplaces, relaxing in the sunroom, enjoying the landscape of Saint Patrick's Pavilion from one of the exterior decks, or gathering for a group session in one of the meeting areas, Praying the Offices in the sister's Chapel, or wandering the grounds, the combined space is a beautifully peaceful venue for individual study, guest relaxation and group facilitation.
Naturally designed like a bed & breakfast, the Library's residential wing is a lodging favorite for individuals, families and groups up to 25 people.
