Walk Through the door to Holiness Conference

The Holiness Conference is well over half full.  Registrations are limited to 200 on a first come basis.  The Conference will enjoy a retreat-type pattern with the Daily Offices and special prayer times.

Because of the Retreat nature of the Conference attendance is limited to registered participants.  This includes the Taize Compline and the Service of Healing.

Registrations can be made by visiting the link below.

The Conference registrations desk is in  the Welcome Center of Christ the King Spiritual Life Center, beginning at 1:30 on Monday, October 3.  The formal opening is at 5pm with the Office of Evensong in the Chapel of St Michael and All Angels.   Archbishop George Carey will deliver the opening talk after dinner.

Christians express concern about the increasing divide between secular American culture and the Christian community.  How can we let our light shine in the darkness?  Developing common ground with postmodern thinking, this conference will provide an opportunity to understand God’s call to faith and holiness, and pray for the deepening our commitment to share the true Gospel message as an ecumenical faith community.

Standing our ground against the postmodern world’s suspicion of the Church, we will explore Gospel themes that foster true community.  Cultivating an appreciation for wisdom, our conference leaders will delve into the multi-dimensional nature of truth.  What is the whole person?  What is the transformational nature of Christian life—from head, to heart, to hand?  How is holiness embodied in our Lord Jesus Christ and His Spirit here among us?
