As Jesus met people in His time on our planet, strong lyrics from the book of Psalms were never far from His mind. Christ quoted these songs more than any other part of our sacred text. Depth and insight, percussion and praise brought souls from weary valleys to hilltop praise. In this retreat with Heather Holdsworth we consider the artistry, and astonishing hope in the songbook of Jesus.
HEATHER HOLDSWORTH is a lecturer, Bible teacher, artist and author. Her focus is on the spiritual formation of people of all ages. Her degree in education and subsequent experience in schools, grew a keen interest in how people work. She studied Practical Theology for 2 years in Edinburgh, Scotland and completed an MA in Spiritual Formation at Moody Theological Seminary, Chicago, in 2010. Heather's art is a response to her study of and meditation on Scripture. Her unique visualization invites the reader to reflection and hope. She lives in St. Andrews, Scotland with her husband, Adrian.
